Anushka Sharma was the child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya the state of Uttar Pradesh on May 1st 1988. Anushka was the daughter of a colonel who retired. She is the daughter of a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, Anushka's brother and filmmaker, was a member of the Merchant Navy. Anushka is a graduate at Army School Bangalore. The film was an unexpected success and received good reviews. The contract of Anushka's for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
